Head of FinOps

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced FinOps professional to lead innovation and customer engagement at CloudHiro. You will drive the research and development of new cloud integrations, pioneer innovative FinOps optimization strategies, and work closely with customers to deliver measurable value.

Responsibilities

• •Lead research and development of new cloud integrations and optimization strategies
• •Serve as a trusted advisor to customers, delivering insights and innovative cost-saving solutions
• •Pioneer new FinOps methodologies and best practices based on market trends and customer needs
• •Collaborate with R&D to translate customer feedback into product improvements and new features
• •Lead customer-facing workshops, account reviews, and strategic optimization sessions
• •Stay ahead of cloud provider changes and identify new optimization opportunities
• •Translate analytical insights into clear, actionable business recommendations for customers

Requirements

• •4+ years of proven experience in FinOps, cloud cost optimization, or cloud economics
• •Strong hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, and/or GCP cost management tools
• •Proven track record in customer-facing roles with excellent presentation skills
• •Research-oriented mindset with passion for innovation and continuous improvement
• •High level of ownership and ability to independently manage a domain end-to-end
• •Excellent communication skills with ability to engage executives and technical stakeholders
• •Bachelor's degree in Economics, Business, Computer Science, or related field - an advantage
• •FinOps Certified Practitioner or equivalent certification - an advantage
