Onboard OCI to CloudHiro cost optimization platform
Please read until the end before you start.
Create a new user
- Go to Identity & Security → Domains → User Management → Add User
- Name:
cloudhiro
- Last name:
cloudhiro
- Email:
notify@cloudhiro.com
Create a new group and assign user
- Create a group called
cloudhiro-costi
- Assign the user cloudhiro to the group cloudhiro-costi
Create a new policy
- Go to Policies → Create policy
- Name:
Cloudhiro
- Description: fill whatever you desire
- Compartment: choose the compartment
- Show manual editor and add the following statements (change the group name as needed):define tenancy usage-report as ocid1.tenancy.oc1..aaaaaaaaned4fkpkisbwjlr56u7cj63lf3wffbilvqknstgtvzub7vhqkggq
Endorse group <group_name> to read objects in the tenancy usage-reportReplace<group_name>
with your group name, e.g.:
Endorse group cloudhiro-costi to read objects in tenancy usage-report
Create API Key
- Go to Domains → User management → Select the CloudHiro user → API keys → Add API Key
- Make sure Generate API key pair is selected
- Download private key and add
- Click copy to copy the “Configuration file preview”
- Send both the “Configuration file preview” and the PEM file downloaded to your CloudHiro CSM
