Onboard OCI to CloudHiro cost optimization platform

Please read until the end before you start.

Create a new user
  1. Go to Identity & Security → Domains → User Management → Add User
  2. Name: cloudhiro
  3. Last name: cloudhiro
  4. Email: notify@cloudhiro.com
Create a new group and assign user
  1. Create a group called cloudhiro-costi
  2. Assign the user cloudhiro to the group cloudhiro-costi
Create a new policy
  1. Go to Policies → Create policy
  2. Name: Cloudhiro
  3. Description: fill whatever you desire
  4. Compartment: choose the compartment
  5. Show manual editor and add the following statements (change the group name as needed):
    define tenancy usage-report as ocid1.tenancy.oc1..aaaaaaaaned4fkpkisbwjlr56u7cj63lf3wffbilvqknstgtvzub7vhqkggq
    Endorse group <group_name> to read objects in the tenancy usage-report
    Replace <group_name> with your group name, e.g.:
    Endorse group cloudhiro-costi to read objects in tenancy usage-report
Create API Key
  1. Go to Domains → User management → Select the CloudHiro user → API keys → Add API Key
  2. Make sure Generate API key pair is selected
  3. Download private key and add
  4. Click copy to copy the “Configuration file preview”
  5. Send both the “Configuration file preview” and the PEM file downloaded to your CloudHiro CSM
